Bush Foundation Announces New Grant Programs to Support Community Innovation

Communities around the region face significant and complex challenges that require innovative solutions. One of the guiding goals of the Bush Foundation is to inspire and support effective community problem-solving.

That commitment continues today as we announce the launch of our new Community Innovation programs. These programs support and reward efforts to create and implement great ideas that make communities better. Nonprofit organizations of all sizes are invited to apply for funding of up to $500,000.

  • The Community Innovation Grants support innovation through community-powered problem-solving: inclusive, collaborative processes focused on making the most of community assets. Applications open May 29 - July 11.

  • The Bush Prize for Community Innovation honors and supports innovative organizations with a track record of making great ideas happen, and provides funding for the organizations to use however they choose.  Applications open May 29 - August 15.

NACo Releases New "Why Counties Matter" Video Counties provide the services we all depend on. With America's system of federalism, counties are a key level of government, serving the people directly.
