Executive Committee

Purpose
: Ensure the vitality of the association.

Responsibilities:

  1. Act on behalf of the board of directors in between regular board meetings.
  2. Serve as the Legislative Steering Committee during the legislative session.
  3. Represent the association with other elected officials, the media, and the general public.
  4. Promote the benefits of association membership to county officials and staff.

Membership: Elected officers of the association.

AMC staff support: AMC Executive Director and AMC Deputy Director

Meetings: Formation meeting in person each December after the election.Meets monthly by phone and/or Go-To-Meeting. Meets periodically in person as needed. Reimbursement as outlined in the AMC Reimbursement Policy.
