MINNESOTA LOCAL GOVERNMENTS CALL ON STATE LEADERS FOR PARTNERSHIP, FLEXIBILITY IN PUBLIC SERVICE REDESIGN

New Report Shows Redesign and Collaboration Among Cities, Counties and School Districts Underway Statewide

  • AMC created the following documents to assist and coordinate as county boards and individual AMC members undertake this advocacy effort:

    • A letter from AMC Executive Director Jeff Spartz to all members about the status of the MAGIC Act and next steps;

    • A flowchart that visually depicts how the MAGIC Act will work to enhance counties’ ability to deliver services to citizens throughout Minnesota; and

    • A sample resolution that all 87 county boards are being asked to pass in support of the MAGIC Act effort.
