Contracted Clerical Assistant/Recording Secretary
The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District seeks a
qualified independent contractor able to work 10-15 hours a week,
primarily in the evening, to transcribe meeting minutes and perform
intermediate skilled administrative support for the District.
This position will work with District staff, the Board of Managers,
the Citizens Advisory Committee, and the general public.
Qualified candidates shall have a high school
diploma or GED and 3 years’ experience in an administrative capacity
with emphasis on recording and be extremely organized, an expert in
shorthand or the ability to quickly summarize and compile notes, be
skilled in written and oral communications, proficient with
Microsoft Office, typing, transcription, computers and office
equipment and office administration skills. Experience with
websites, electronic record retention systems and government
agencies is preferred. The hiring rate for this position
starts at $15/hour.

Substitute Custodian to provide custodial and light building
maintenance services so that public buildings are clean and in
efficient working condition; performs related work as required.
Requires a High school
