Salary Range: $18.08 to $22.92 Minimum
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, dietetics, or related
field completed by January 2006; must possess or be eligible for
current licensure to practice as a registered nurse or registered
dietitian in Minnesota within 6 months.
Preferred
Qualifications: Experience in public health or health care setting;
Experience in family health, women’s health, or pediatrics;
Certification as a Public Health Nurse; Fluency in understanding,
reading, speaking English & Spanish, or an Asian/African language
spoken by the local refugee populations.
Under direct
supervision of the Community Health Supervisor, this position
performs client intake & referral, conducts case management,
provides program coordination & administration, & performs record
keeping & reporting. This position is also responsible for
presenting information to the public & participating in professional
staff development for the Family Health Program.

Social Services Supervisor -Big Stone County
Big Stone County seeks a full-time Social Services Supervisor; performs responsible professional supervisory work in the administration of the social service programs in a county agency, interprets policies, supervises social workers, develops and directs an orientation program for new staff, fosters effective community-agency relations, interviews clients when special problems arise, listens to grievances and recommends appropriate action.
Minimum qualifications: 1) an accredited master's degree in social work and one year of experience as a social worker; or 2) a master's degree from an accredited college in clinical psychology, counseling, psychology, human services administration or closely related field and one year of experience as a social worker; or 3) a bachelor's degree from an accredited college and four years of experience as a social worker. Must have passed the Minnesota Merit System test in order to be considered. Test will be administered in Big Stone County on Friday, July 10, 2009.

Public Health Nurse - Mower County
Mower County is seeking applicants for one Public Health Nurse position to work 3 to 5 days per week. Bachelor’s degree in nursing, current licensure by the state of Minnesota as a registered nurse and certification as a public health nurse preferred. RN applications accepted.
