The Board is currently working on the development of
Sanitary Sewer District/s/ for areas that are in need of upgrading on site
treatment systems. This organization
has completed several joint planning projects including the Fairgrounds, a
joint domestic animal control facility, a transportation plan, housing, etc. |

What have been the outcomes to-date? |
Start slow and build on success. Cooperative efforts are not easy and change
can be slow. Getting financial support
from the Blandin Foundation ($100,000)was key to moving this effort
forward. The units now provide
sustaining dollars to the organization annually. |
