ACTION ALERT

Contact Congress about Targeted Case Management fix

Please call or e-mail Representatives Kline, Ramstad, and Bachman TODAY to urge them to support HR5613.  This bill is up in Congress on the House floor on Tuesday, April 22.

The Targeted Case Management bill, HR 5613, would prevent the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid from implementing seven new Medicaid regulations.  This would allow counties to continue drawing federal funds for some social services that would otherwise be disallowed and prevent severe cuts or shifts to local property taxes.  All House Democrats support this bill, but it requires 2/3 majority, so Republican support is also needed.  All of Minnesota's Republication delegation in the House has all cosponsored this provision in another bill.
